Canadian Auto Workers Local 229  Sponsor Billboard to Help End Male Violence Against Women.

Members of CAW Local 229 along with concerned community members marched from the Thunder Bay Labour Center to a billboard along the Harbour Expressway on March 5 the bring attention to the urgent issue of ending male violence against women. Suzanne Pulice, CAW Local 229 Vice President said “We have been calling on the Ontario government to change these laws for over a decade. The consequences of doing nothing on the recommendations from the Coroner’s Inquest into the Lori Dupont murder can be as life threatening to workers as the tragic and needless death of Lori Dupont.”
